Tulipa clusiana 'Lady Jane' has stunning flowers; white and red petals and a yellow centre. It looks just like a sweetie! 'Lady Jane' is beautifully elegant too; the flowering stem protrudes far above the fine foliage without falling over. A garden jewel!
Tulipa clusiana 'Lady Jane' was planted on our riverbanks in 2013. Lady Jane' flowered there abundantly in 2014! And in 2015 Tulipa clusiana also returned well. A robust bulb as long as it's planted in a sunny spot and in fertile ground.
Tulipa clusiana originates from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The cultivar 'Lady Jane' looks most like the species (Tulipa clusiana) and is available from Dutch growers.
