NARCISSUS - Daffodil
The Daffodil, together with the Tulip, is the most well known bulb sort, and the choice is enormous. We offer a number of ‘wild’, early flowering and classic Daffodils which we can personally recommend.
Daffodils are ideal for naturalising and can be planted in a sunny meadow area, or combined with unfurling perennials in a border. Daffodils prefer a fertile soil; give them some extra manure every spring and you’ll reap the rewards! Gardening on sandy soil? Prepare the ground by adding clay minerals and your bulbs will grow even beter.
