From organic cultivation (Skal 026838)
An unusually deep-coloured ornamental onion. The fairly large flower heads (diameter 10cm) are a deep purple, and the stems are about 70cm long. Allium ‘Purple Sensation’ looks great in a meadow with other bulbs, or among perennials in a border. An especially sunny spring can persuade these bulbs to flower as early as the end of April!
