Allium paradoxum, commonly known as Few-flowered garlic, is an ideal Allium for naturalising. Few-flowered garlic flowers in spring, with 10-15 bell-like flowers. The loose bulbs are very small and are therefore susceptible to drying out: please plant these bulbs as quickly as possible!
Few-flowered garlic is native to the Caucasus and to northern Iran where they grow in forests - often spreading to cover large areas. Discovered in Azerbaijan in 1987.
