The Broad-leaved grape hyacinth, Muscari latifolium, has a striking pale blue tuft and a long flowering period. Muscari latifolium is a really lovely flower to add to a bulb or stinzen-meadow. In our garden at De Warande, it flowers precisely between the flowering periods of Narcissus 'Tête-à-Tête' and Camassia caerulea. See photo 2.

The Broad-leaved grape hyacinth is native to southwestern Turkey where it grows in pine forests.
