Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' is the white cultivar of Camassia leichtlinii. This Camass has beautiful creamy white spikes which flower shortly after the blue C. leichtlinii ‘Caerula’. Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' is an ideal for in flower meadows, or in combination with perennials and grasses in borders.
Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' is native to North America. The well-known English plantsman, William Robinson (1870), noted Camassia quamash as being very suitable for naturalising in grass. Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' is as suitable, and is also somewhat taller.
